from my camera phone this week! It has been hovering around 5 degrees all week. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2649189590104109739lhujTA He was watching the snowmobilers in the next field. The QH that goes out with him was losing his mind, he was terrified! (So much for those crazy TBs, eh?) He looks like a "normal" horse now, his neck and shoulders are HUGE compared to when he first came.... Anyone else got snow pics to share? Edited by FlashGordon, Jan 18 2009, 02:33 PM.

He looks so handsome! I have a crazy TB, too. She calmly watches my boarder's horse go crazy when my kids go sledding. I can't wait to see a picture of Windsor with you on board this spring!! ![]() Here's my mare and the big guy earlier in the week [before the sub-zero snap]. They had both been laying in the snow napping in the sun but of course hopped up as soon as they spotted me with the camera.

I love your mare, TBF, I want to kiss that little white spot on her nostril!!!!!! And I still think the pony is hysterical, he looks like a tank!!! Mr. Win is SO not bothered, by anything! The only thing I've noticed is shifts in light seem to make him a little leery. Other than that, he is totally blah and mellow. Not noise reactive, not spooky, it's great!

Witchy, his tongue is out in every picture because he gets so nervous if he can't put something in his mouth! So he yawns, and sticks his tongue out, and generally acts like a dork. He is.......behaving. I guess. He & my mare *ate* a stall door last week when they got bored. This is his trick, not hers, but I guess it doesn't take long to teach bad habits. Woke up to find them both gnawing away on the wood, leaving little piles of wood chips. I've coated all the edges in soap, which has worked very well....but grr ! Honestly, I'm truly thinking it might be easier to deal with this horse if he's allowed to have a pacifier. He's very nice if he has something in his mouth....like a leather glove, for example. He holds it in his front teeth and rubs his teeth back and forth. He needs a woobie. Certainly he's not a good horse to be bored, which is, unfortunately, what has happened with the cold & snow. His owner has transferred to a local college and hopefully she'll have more time to spend now. I do like him but he's so weird. She is hoping to teach him to drive, as well. I think he'd be really suited for that; he really is built like a tank. Maybe some of that heavy hauling stuff to tire his fat a$$ out!!!![]() |

Ha ha TBF sounds like that beastly little pony needs a hardcore job!!!! Driving perhaps will be a good thing for him! Is he broke to ride? He is an orphan, right? I swear the orphan foals have a weird oral fixation. |
