OMG, Tarragon, pampered queen that she is, starts screaming to be brought in if it so much as sprinkles on a warm spring day. She would lose her mind if white stuff fell from the sky and stuck to her

My trainer and I went back and forth tonight on whether Her Highness needed her heavy blanket on tonight or if her sheet would be enough, after all it is going down to 40 tonight, and we wouldn't want her to be cold in her stall in the insulated barn :teehee:

I should show Tara this picture.

DQ, she looks quite content! :) Where's her buddy, Gunner?

I think the secret is hay, hay, and more hay. And lots of warm water to drink.

Gunner is still in the "UCK!! White stuff!! GET IT OFF!" mode.

He shakes and shimmies till he has not snow on him - or he'll go roll to get it off. So he's not as amusing to photo in the snow.

So Gracie hasn't shared the insulating properties of snow theory with him yet? Poor guy!

That's funny about Tara , tarragon. Poor little princess. I don't think you should show her the picture. She would be very afraid. You might mention it to her though when she's being resistant in training next time......

Grace shares very little with Gunner if she can help it, exp. food. She's very, ummm, self preseratory. What her's is hers and whats yours is hers.

Share is not in her vocab - also the reason the 2 horses are in seperate turnouts.
