Public Service Announcement...

I understand that Pepperidge Farm has contacted to distribute Tim Tams in the United States. They will be sold at Target stores for $3 starting in March.

I actually am not a huge Tim Tams fan myself. I think someone else here is, Ibex maybe? So the PSA is for her benefit, not for mine. Though Tim Tams are cookies and it's not like I am going to say no to cookies...

Now, when the UK chocolates come over here?! THEN I am going to need to install a drool guard on the computer. Ooh, or Mozartkugel, oooh... or Cherry Blossoms... ohh... ooooooooooohhhhh!

They sell them here now too. I picked up some in Canadian Superstore a few months back and my mom got some before Christmas too. They were pretty good!

Best news ever!!!

My aussie coworker's mom sends a box from Adelaide, AU every month with two packs of tim tams. She's headed back on Feb 10th and promised to send packages but the shipping will cost her an arm and a leg (I think it costs her mom $30-40 each month).

3 days??? You have WAY more self restraint than I do.

Mmmmmm.... TimTams..... I just worry that they'll make them here, and do it wrong.

Strangely enough, I saw Mozartkugel at Whole Foods before christmas. It wasn't a brand I recognised from being in Austria, even one of the tourist-y brands, so I didn't buy any of them myself, but they were there. Not sure how they'd compare to the real thing though...and the real thing is freakishly good!

I think I may have bought Mozartkugel at Whole Foods?! IIRC, it was just as good as I remembered and the wrapping reminded me of the Mozartkugel from Vienna?!

I know in Austria I had lots of "knock off" Mozartkugel bought at various placed, like Aldi, and it was just as good as the real thing. Mmm.... Mozartkugel ...
