I am looking for part-time barn help in the afternoon. Schedule is flexible, but prefer mid-day on. A minimum would be 2 hours per day Mon-Sat cleaning 5 stalls, bringing in horses, feeding, and possible tack cleaning. Or, work 4 hours per day doing both the above and some farm chores (cutting grass, raking leaves, clearing brush, trimming fence lines, etc.). Pay is $11.25/hour.

You must be responsible, dependable, experienced with horses and stall cleaning, and have references.

Hey Devon,

You might want to try www.virginiaequestrian.com and look in the classifieds there for some part time work. There are tons of people on there looking for jobs. Also, if you don't find anyone that has already posted that suits what you are looking for you can place an ad for free.

Thanks! I actually managed to find someone through VAEquestrian. She's a dressage rider, works part-time at the Dover Saddlery store in Chantilly, and rides horses out here so I'm conveniently located for her. She's not quiet as good as Jose was, but she speaks English, so woo-hoo! ;)
