Godspeed little "Buddy"

Schooling Posts: 30 Group: Members Member #816 Joined: February 23, 2007	Buddy was a small pony who was euthanized yesterday morning due to complications from laminitis. It was so hard to see him, his appetite was great, he was super alert and aware of everything and everyone around him. His poor feet, all four of them, just could not take it anymore. He taught more than one little girl to ride. Once he was outgrown, he became the barn pony. Everyone took time to scratch his ears, pick out his feet and make sure he was comfortable. His owner did what the best of the best horsepeople do. She gave him a wonderful way of life for his final years and made the terribly difficult decision when the time came. I feel very lucky to know her. This post does little to express my sadness but it helps to share with others who understand. Godspeed little boy.
