I AM SO HAPPY TO HEAR YOU GOT YOUR PACKAGE!!!

You are most welcome, I'm so glad you like everything! I made the chocolates myself - first try, they turned out pretty good! The ones with the "snow" are Eggnog, and have some bourbon in them. The others are straight chocolate, so fine for children. ;)

They're chocolate truffles - I made some with regular chocolate ganache, and rolled them in either cocoa powder or powdered sugar. Then the Eggnog ones had a filling made with eggnog and bourbon, and I dipped them in melted chocolate. They were really fun to make once I got the hang of them. I do wish the recipe had warned me about watching the temperature of the dipping chocolate, too hot and the filling melts and you get little Eggnog and chocolate pancakes... :point:

A TRAINED CHEF liked my chocolates! I'm all :cloud9:

I didn't get to participate in the SS, but Ride'em was kind enough to make some chocolates for me, too. I was dumb enough to put them in my coat pocket when we were hangin' out in Middleburg the day after Christmas. I went home and hung my coat on a dining room chair and went out to the barn. When I came back in from the barn there were little chocolate wrappers all of the dining room floor. A certain little monster (a/k/a Josie or Josephinie when she's in trouble) was lickin' her chops while the other two were sitting in the background looking at me like, "We didn't do it....SHE DID!" :pissed: :pissed: So, Ride'em, I need more homemade chocolates. This time I WILL NOT put them in my coat pocket! :teehee:
