They just announced Obama won! I cannot tell you how thrilled I am!     Now  that Prop 8 does not pass here in CA.

The McCain I remember of old resurfaces again at his concession speech. What a gracious, heartfelt, eloquent speech. Well said, Mr. McCain!! Congratulations to the Obama camp. I agree, great speech by McCain. It actually made me a little teary when I saw him tearing up. Very sad about Obama's grandmother.

Agree, great speech by McCain--that was the McCain who could have won an election, but not the party primary. So excited....I just drove home through the streets of DC and was screaming out the windows and getting all sorts of excited screams back. FIRE IT UP; READY TO GO! |

My dad just called me to tell me that as he is leaving his office in DC (NEA...it's downtown...something and N?) there are TONS of people on the streets celebrating. So fabulous. Seems like they might be making their way to the white house? It's so exciting to see people so excited. Youth especially. I'm so proooooud!! |

Yes he won. Now let us hope he doesnt screw it up. Let us hope he stops playing the race card. Hope he can put a gag on some of the more liberal congresspeople. Let us hope in 4 yrs sanity returns and less liberal person gets in. Let us hope a radical right dosent either. I look foward to beating him in 4 yrs. Let us hope he dosent screw up the country beyond fixable. I hold no hope for the country now as the masses spoke they want something for nothing. let us hope people come ot their sences and realize it isnt the way to live. |

I am so happy for you guys!! It makes me want to move there SO MUCH MORE now. He's got SO MANY expectations to live up to, especially from those who were anti-Obama, that I am sure some will find ways to always make him a failure. He can't fix the country completely in 4 years but I damn well know he will TRY!! And hopefully I will be there to experience some of it. |
