Numbers are kind of funky, it would appear. Lego went in a division today with the new mr. trainer, and apparently there were some communication errors resulting in lego trotting in both classes.

I heard the ground is hard and slick. Just in time for indoors! This was just posted on their results site: THURSDAY SCHEDULE CHANGE ALL THURSDAY CLASSES ARE MOVING TO THE ALL-WEATHER RING. FIRST YEAR GREENS WILL START AT 9:00 A.M. THE AMATEUR 3'3" DIVISION WILL START IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE REGULAR WORKING HUNTERS, APPROXIMATELY 1:00, FOLLOWED BY THE AMATEUR OWNERS AND ENDING WITH THE SMALL HUNTERS. Is A. Loh going to be there for the weekend? I have no trainer as of yet, everyone I call is jumping ship before the weekend. Mr. Trainer is asking around... |

I was there today and Ring 2 was very slippery, too bad they didn't move the Local pro's to the all weather ring today. My horse decided he would swap out before oh um 4 of the 8 fences. Oh well, it was good experience for him. GraceTW, which horse is yours? I think I saw him and if it's the same on, he is beautiful!

Mine is Word Play, Tommy rode him. I'd LOVE details if he's the one you saw go. We just moved and have a new trainer, so I am just dying to hear how it went (other than the trotting thing, which I got from the BM). I purchased varying spikes so that he could more effectively injure himself during his rounds, so hopfully the new set of studs gave him some traction. Did they open up the "all weather ring"? When I came by on Monday it was just half a schooling area with some picket fence and it was teeny tiny. I'm not looking forward to that one, but he survived at upperville where it was actually smaller.

Yup, that was him! His round was just gorgeous, it was hard to see the trot since it was at the upper part of the ring (i think the 2nd round) but you just saw Tommy's head and it changed a little, all of his fences were beautiful, he jumps so nice. The other trot was down at the in gate where it was really slick. Didn't he get a good ribbon in the hack? I had him first but now I can't remember how it pinned. It was a long day! They had jumps set up in that small ring for a ticketed warm up, we went in before mine went and it was tight at 3 ft but I would rather have that then the slickness in the grass. |

I had no clue he even hacked- I figured that if he had troted in both, tommy would have just saved himself another round, but that is nice to hear that they hacked. Hopefully he got a little more feel of him that way. The barn manager said that tommy just was pulling to whoa and lego obliged by trotting, not that it was required for som major disobedience. Now I'm gonna be stuck to horse shows online looking for his hack ribbon... I'm glad he is moving well. We switched farriers and I haven't had a chance to see him go since. |

It's OK, I think I found someone. New horseshowsonline came in handy- I just looked at all the trainers who had kids in my division. |

Can anyone relay how the vendors are this year? I have to drive up to Middleburg to pick something up tomorrow and if the shopping at the show is decent I figured I could stop by the show too. |
