I think I have a new A/O horse for next year --my pinto WB, who has excellent jumping form and scope (schooled up to 4'6" at home), with a huge stride, and very brave. However, she's always been a bit sensitive about things, and when she gets nervous, has had a tendency to go around more like a jumper than a hunter...so I was never sure if I'd really be able to show her a lot in the hunters. WELL... she showed at Warrenton last weekend, and was just stellar, getting ribbons in most of her classes, and was totally focused every single time she stepped foot in the ring (and 3' is certainly not causing her any effort). So I'd better not muck up too badly next year, as we certainly don't blend in. I am terribly envious as I have always wanted a pinto. She is adorable. Perhaps my next horse will actually have spots. And who wants to blend in! |

You know me, everything is for sale. But she has always been the one that I really didn't want to move on anytime soon.

How adorable!! Doesn't she want to come to Hampton and live in my backyard?? I promise not to let the corgis herd her and to keep her out of the way of tropical storms.

Because Hunt Night is strictly an "Exhibition", and not governed by USEF, and therefore regular USEF attire/tack rules are not required to be followed. Hence when the other pictures get put up, you'll see all of us in top hats in the Corinthian class. |

I have her twin!!! Mine is younger (3 1/2) and just stumbled over her first X today. I shall show miss Panda these pictures as a tutorial!!! Good luck with her!Actually, Panda jumps beautifully all by herself in the arena. Today she was tired (we had a little bitchfight that I won ) and uninspired.
