I need stud hole plugs and have to get them mail order seeing as I live in the boonies! Where can I get Plugits and Thread Savers for the best price with the best shipping cost?

I would have posted this on the driving forum, but I thought you Dark Siders would be a great resource!

Thanks all :)

Get a can of that Nevr Dull impregnated wool stuff and use that to stuff the holes.

Hey, thanks Seal! I have a couple of tins of NeverDull around. I use is to polish the brass on my harness. I never would have thought to use it for that.

That is what we use it for. Keeps the holes clean and shiny.

I always just used little pieces of plain cotton stuffing that I jammed into the holes with a horseshoe nail. Most of the time they were still in there the next time I needed them, and the ones that were jammed all full of dirt came clean anyway with my shoe tap.

It's been a while since i've needed studs though (er, the metal kind that is! ) as I've had green beans for the past few years, so I'll keep the NeverDull tip in mind. I'm hoping to be at that point where I'll need studs for XC this time next year with my mare!
