Preparing for a horse trial, getting help

We're on a bridge, Chaaaaaaaaarlie!

We own a modest hundred acres about an hour from Minneapolis/St. Paul
and have, for the last 10+ years, been hosting one annual unrecognized
horse trial each year. By regional standards we are thought to live way
out in the sticks so the folks who come to our show generally are not
nearby neighbors to us. We have some wonderful volunteers who come
each year on show day and help us make this show happen. The problem
is that we don't have much help in preparing for the show and my DH and
I are rapidly reaching medicare age and find we don't have the stamina we
had a decade ago and are finding it harder and harder to muster enough
energy to do all the preparation of the cross country course and the
other physical preparations to host this show.

I need some idea how to recruit some person or people to help do the
work of preparing for the show. We don't have any budget to pay
money for the help; we are committed to keeping the show entry fee
as low as possible so folks can afford to give the sport a try. We are
also not the big time and we don't have people who are really concerned
to see our event continue (at least, I think that is true). I tried offering
free entries to local pony club kids who would work but didn't get any
takers.

Any ideas? Do you think someone might want to learn how to put on
a horse trial and would come work with me for a week or so to learn?
How about a month or so of free board and free access to the course
to practice? How do I find someone if it does sound interesting? While
I do have insurance to instruct, I am not skilled enough to be really
useful as an eventing coach for anyone above the lowest level.
