I do a blog. The little man is done for this year though. http://sealcovesworld.blogspot.com/ My trainer's wife is doing one for the barn and it will be linked to the barn's web site in a matter of days. But we are in Washington state so we might not be too entertaining! |

Ok, I will play. I don't post that much so I hopefully can get them loaded. These are from Culpeper last week. My horse did the Baby Greens, got 3rd & 4th o/f and a 6th in the hack. I'm so proud of him and next year I hope to be doing the Adults. And thanks to RHowell for the best braider ever! |

That is my trainer riding, I got him from their farm last summer and he was a dressage horse. He is a 16.2, Oldenburg Gelding, 9 years young. he is still a little peeky at the fences and I'm still a nervous adult. |

I'll play. Here is Genie Bo Beanie with Ms. Fabulous Trainer in the irons from Bay State. He was Reserve Champion in the Locals with her http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/orderpage.aspx?pi=07OD004B080074&po=74 I was champion in the Pre-adults but it won't let me post pictures. It keeps attaching a link to someone else. Oh well. Edited by Ethan & Ella's Mom, Aug 26 2008, 01:22 PM.

Last show I did was just a schooling thing in the beginning of December. Horse went to a play day in March and was less than fun to ride, so trainer rode him. I'm not planning on showing for the rest of the year. (I am, however, planning on attending a GM clinic if I can find a darn schedule). |

E&E - those last two links are definitely not you (unless Gene, on top of his other talents, can also morph into a bay) ![]() ETA - he looks great in the earlier shot though! I can't recall, did he show at all before you got him? Edited by Lion1024, Aug 26 2008, 02:05 PM.

i went to lexington last week and had a lovely time. I showed my pony in the 2'6 warm up, 3, 4, and 5 year olds and modified childrens/adults. Other than some rider errors in the modifieds, he was a star all week long. It was a lot of fun. It was my first time showing him at 2'9. And I realized that showing against professionals sucks...cuz uh they don't exactly make mistakes and I chose to make my mistakes against my fellow ch/aa riders! But despite being totally intimidated by being the only non pro in my open warm up and 3,4 and 5 year olds, it was wonderful! I have a very special little horse. there are a couple of cute pictures from the first day of showing. ![]() and then getting used to a little height change haha... ![]() I'm going to show in the 3/4 year olds at Quentin on the 4th and then I'm off to school! My horse is staying home all year and hopefully starting the pre-greens around december so you all need to keep an eye out for me!! |

I watched Gene go at Bay State and I must say, I'm in love. He is so unbelievably nice! And he looks like he's a lot of fun to be around too. And then I also love him because he reminds me of a supersized version of my horse haha. |

That's funny you say that Lion. When I posted all links on my original post, it was RBK and Gene and then the bay (who happened to be one of the new members of ESP and her fabulous mare). Gene was a dressage horse prior to becoming the love of my life. GG, Gene is a major in your pocked pony and his hobbies include eating and laying down. He is my dream horse times 1000!!! I love him more then my hubby (shhhh, don't tell)!!! Your guy looks look a serious show horse in your pictures. They are great. You should be proud!! |
