Okay, I currently have a great riding kid that shows in the Children's Hunters and Pre-Childrens Jumpers...she has the ability to go bigger.

I am a little hard on her from time to time, but it's because she gets a little lazy, and thinks she's being "picked on". Her mother is great and does alot for her, but again...this only allows her to be lazy! :P

I am looking for some possibilities for her for next summer to be a working student AWAY from this area. She will turn 17 next July. I would love some recommendations, websites, and job descriptions from anyone willing to give it up! She has a really great mare she shows in the jumpers that I would prefer go with her for the summer so she could show. Some examples of positions would be good, so I could show her what's involved.

She needs to WORK and WORK HARD and really learn what the business is all about. She says it's what she wants to do. If I didn't think she had some skill I wouldn't be recommending her. I feel that she needs to remove herself from her comfortable atmosphere and we may see her real potential.

I think that a groom/working student position for possibly a month (minimum) would be great. Please send me any info you may know of!

THANKS! :luck:

Where is she located and what area do you want her to get away from?

We are in a fine area (Murfreesboro TN)...I just want her to get away from her buddies, her mother, and her "comfort zone" so that she sees if she really wants to do this, she HAS to work.

She will be lazy, she will get smart, and she will talk back. However, if you don't hesitate to take her down a few pegs...she will be great.

She is an excellent rider, however!

Send her to me. I'm used to dealing with teenagers and have no problem setting them down for a reality check. The horse can come and I can probably stick her in a dorm room. I'd love to have a few days off...
