Off visiting Candy Cave, be right back. Posts: 1,378 Group: Members Member #565 Joined: January 22, 2007	Some of you may know BAB from TOB but she and I are very good friends but anyway...... 14 years ago BAB bought me the cutest little corgi and I named her Edie after my grandmother. She was sweet and kind and very funny. She loved to talk to you and tell you just what she thought. When I didn't have a place to live that would allow me to keep a pet, Edie remained at BAB's home where she had the best life. When I was able to have pets where I lived I elected to allow BAB to keep her as Edie was used to her home and her life there. She was the Big Dog...or at least in her mind, and the other dogs at BAB's allowed her to think so. Last summer she was diagnosed with cancer and BAB religiously took her for her treatments and cared for her in the loving way that BAB does with all her animals. Edie responded well and seemed to rebound. In the last few weeks she had taken a turn for the worse and I guess yesterday was not good and the decision was made for Edie to cross the bridge. One couldn't ask for a better person to be there at the end than BAB. She has the upmost respect and concern for all her animals and ALWAYS does what is right no matter how she personally feels. I'm bless that Edie had such a good loving home. God Speed Edie. I hope you meet your namesake....she'll be in her flower garden.
