Well, his tail was back at the barn and it was sort of muddy enough to rock it...well maybe not in the ring, but the schooling area was still ick. I mean, the ring was ick. But we schooled there. :psycho:

Wow, those are gorgeous! I would have to buy them all and make an alblum. It's hard to get a bad shot at U-ville, what beautiful grounds.

Congrats Grace I just saw this thread and Yes you have done a great job with him. I think we had only jumped him a few times in the field before we took him to Justbays and Alex rode him over some cross rails and Alex rode him another time for us at Anita's (where we took the pictures). Alex is the best!

Jennifer took him to a horse show a few weeks later and had a clean sweep on him and he had NEVER jumped a course!!!! and he probably only jumped a course 2 other times when you got him!!

I will say that Alex taught us the art of the lunge line because we are a wee bit lazy and never lunged :innocent: so that certainly helped at his first o/f horse show.

He was a very fun horse minus the land shark issues !!!!!

haha, he is a brave guy, isn't he? Chris always claims he'd jump fire if I asked him to, so you guys have to take some of the credit for giving him a good start. His manners have really improved by a lot, but he is still a mouthy thing. Just his personality. He's fine around me, though. I go cuddle with him when he takes his morning nap and he sticks his head in my lap and waits for me to rub his face. <3

He's probably just scared that if he refuses, he'll go back to being ridden by The Prayer List. :innocent:

So I have a new threat? I generally keep a can of Alpo in my trunk (really. come borrow it some time if you need it.) but now I can just use that. Thankfully I don't have to keep TPL in my box.

Wow, he looks great! I actually had strong in this horse a couple years ago when he was for sale, but couldn't plan a time to drive out and see him quick enough as the next thing I knew he had sold! But, as I think back, I wouldn't have found the amazing horses I own today. :)

I'm glad he found such a great home and I wish you two the best of luck!
