I'm in search of opinions on silk colors for the tails of a shadbelly...
I have a regular black Grand Prix and I would like to spice it up with a colored silk. Thoughts?
Maroon? Navy?

You are treading on dangerously thin ice. Please review the FAQs, especially this one...

Very thin ice as cindy thinks fashion question are for the t.o.b :innocent:

Since I have my one shad with a burgundy lining I will recommend that or say an ice blue lining. I think the lining adds that extra touch. Also you can get matching points for them from farmhouse.

Wow. Tough crowd. Definitely not asking for a jacket color but for opinions on silk colors. Not looking to embarrass myself by showing up with burgundy and hearing after several hunderd dollars that my choice was "Sooo 1996".
T.O.B.?

And if you all really think this is out of line and totally off limits, I'll happily resign myself to the corner with a dunce cap.

Mine's a darker lavender - but in all the pictures it looks really light!

Ice blue is good too...I also love the bright orange linings I've seen in the dark brown GP coats but I would never have the guts to put it in a shad ;)

TOB= the other board or COTH which has too many "Name My Horse" or "what color goes best with" threads. I would think a good tack shop can help you choose the right colors. Doesn't the Farm House in Tryon have lots of shadbellies?

You may need a ruler across the wrist not a dunce cap. :point: :nyah: :point:
