Hah, I was obviously so stunned/excited that I forgot about being modest about one's accomplishments. I loooved the carriage driving this morning- the hackney team and the lady with the dutch horse were my favorites. Oh, and the white shires..and the black ones...haha, I loffed them all! Poor lego- it was so hot! Over fences I just forgot to turn and forgot to ask for a lead change, he was great, which I was thrilled with after Keswick which was...not great. Kahuna, is your children's horse wallstreet? I was talking to his momma in the lineup, congratulating her on her over fences ribbon. Her horse is a nice boy! Sarah- Lego rocked a mud knot. Even though he was doused in half a bottle of fly spray, my sister threatened to take it out when I wasn't looking. I figured after all the craziness with Magee's hoof you were busy, so I was not upset in the least. God knows, my boy gets hurt and I'll forget to eat, the tail was minor in comparison. Lego very much appreciated the balloon on his stall when ge got back- he is glad his buddies recognize his ability to cart my butt around and still look good. :teehee:

Grace! Thats awesome. My Lego says congrats to yours (and adds that he wasn't often the hack winner either so he understands what that means to you both).

Gee, even when I was extricating myself from the decorative foliage? Gosh, I thought I was rather well liked. :teehee: Nah, he is a very good boy, we both just had to figure out how to do our respective jobs.

Man the heat was brutal Sat and Sunday. The sidesaddle people looked so hot. I was there watching most of Sat and Sun.

Congrats to everyone.. I am amazed at the endurance in such awful conditions weather wise this last week. Surely one for the record books, tornado then record breaking heat/humidity.

Whew, it was a long week.

We finally got power back on the farm I live on , after 3 days of hauling water up from the ponds to the horses, it was really unpleasant.

We felt like we were living in a 3rd world country or something...
