Can anyone give me some hauler's contact info in that area (SW VA). Large pony to be transported from Winchester to Lynchburg (near Randolph College). Approximate driving time is 3 hours. Need price estimates too if possible. Mostly down 81. After 1 June.

I used horse taxi before when I was in a bind. They're the last one on this page:

My friend also used them for a couple horse shows and was very happy. And, their rates were great.

Thanks Rachel. I called one located in Culpeper. Really nice guy, Griffinsburg Equine Transportation. Bigger rig but his price quote sounded in the ball park. Will check the Taxi guy and see what his price is.

I have a horse going from south of Lynchburg to Winchester at the end of this week or beginning of next week. He could probably bring one back.

Tony Gardiner - (434) 251-3198

He could probably be talked into waiting until the start of next week to do the round trip full.

I will certainly pass this along. Wow, that is perfect. Thanks. Just remembered, Can't be in Lynchburg until beginning of June when barn is re-opened but I will still pass info to her.

Sorry - forgot about that detail. That's what I get for trying to do too many things right at the end of the school year!
