I am hosting a 4 show Jumper series with FenRidge Farm in Mebane North Carolina. Please see my website for more information (http://www.finallyfarmnc.com/showseries.php), and feel free to contact me with any questions or requests.

It is my goal to put on a quality unrated show series that is affordable for everyone, competitive, and meets the needs of the jumper community.

Top Ten things we are going to do to help battle the heat this weekend!

10.Provide easily accessible water for your horses!
9. Provide as many canopy tents and shady areas as we can for you and your horsey!
8. Put water in the water jump in the event you fall off, at least you will get a nice refreshing dip!
7. Provide FROSTY cold beverages all day long!
6. Have sizzling hot competition that will make the outside temperature feel cool as a cucumber!
5. Offer chilled fruit cups at the concession stand - yum!
4. Offer chilled CHOCOLATE at the concession stand - say no more - right?
3. Have complimentary apples and carrots for all horses. (Ok, so this has nothing to do with staying cool - but the horses sure will appreciate it!)
2. Such a well run, delightful horse show, you won't even notice how much you are sweating!

AND THE NUMBER ONE THING WE WILL DO TO HELP BATTLE THE HEAT THIS WEEKEND........

1. Provide the judge with a battery operated fan and a canopy so that she isn't cranky and cuts everyone some slack for their first time out! :big giggles:

I stopped by today very briefly, it was hot!!! My horse may have to pretend to be a jumper for the next one if it is a little cooler and I don't have work.
