Having read all of Martha Grimes' Richard Jury novels, I just finished "Dakota", an Andi Oliver book. Sooo different from the RJ series - a western, involving donkey, horses, pigs and an amnesiac heroine. An anti-slaughter, anti-agribusiness story.

Highly recommended. It sticks with you.
