Wishing your Mom and your Family all the best during this difficult time. :jingles:

One of our friends in a similar situation, is purchasing one of the changing photo frames, and putting on photos of the kids, family & pets etc. for his Mom to view for company when they are not able to be present. :)
Just take things one day at a time. Sounds like your hubby is a real Gem.

My thoughts and prayers are with you! We lost my grandfather last year to leukemia and lymphoma. My mom was able to spend a lot of time with him before he passed away, and I know that time was very special for both of them. Hugs for your family.

RR, I lost both my father and my mother to cancer. My mother died less than a year after I graduated from college (my father died when I was in 7th grade).

I really encourage you to come back and spend as much time as possible with your mother. I did not move back home to be with mine, although I visited as often as I could, and it's something I will always, always regret.

Therapy and antidepressants help, too.
