We have a new Tractor Supply in town. I needed to waste some time last night so I went in...the first thing I noticed were some really cute Ariat clogs. I wear Ariat Paddock boots and love them so I decided to try the clogs. They had a braided rein like piece across the front and a snaffle bit.

I would have done better if I had tied bricks to my feet with barb wire. The most awful uncomfortable, hard shoe I have ever tried. Right back to the box, right back to the shelf. And $90 too! I literally stood up and walked three feet away from the bench and three feet back and had a rub on the inside of my ankle and yes, I was wearing socks!

Are they sized differently than the boots? Are they made from another manufacturer?

I have Fat Baby's or Daddy's which I love...and 3 pairs of sandles and a pair of brown shoes that are slip ons. All are so comfortable and I wear them a lot....Tractor Supply sure does like my DH now....

My mom lives in her Ariat clogs, as does my hairdresser (both NON horsey!). My mom's have held up very nicely and they are quite comfy.

I have 3 or 4 pair of Ariat shoes. My favorite being a pair of mules. They look great with jeans and are comfy. I also have 3 pair of Ariat paddock shoes. I buy them when I see them on sale. And 2 pairs of Terrains. Those are my absolute favorite! One pair black and one pair brown.

I have two pairs of Ariat clogs and I think they're more comfortable than my Danskos. I was lucky to find mine on eBay at a great price.

I have really flat feet, and they KILLED me, I cannot wear them. A student of mine used to wear the clogs all the time and loved them. I adore my paddocks!! and Field boots!

Sannois! That is it! I have flat feet too and felt like I was walking on a steel tightrope! Glad their boots are not like their shoes!

I have flat feet and my Ariat work boots (not riding boots) are the most comfy ever. When I drove for UPS I got to wear them because they are the correct color. Absolutely saved my feet. Well made, soft leather and tough as nails (amazingly).

I have flat feet too but LOVE my Ariats. I own 3 pairs of the mules and another pair that look like the mules but with a closed back.

I have these-- the Ariat Santa Cruz clogs:

They don't fit like my Ariat paddocks boots at all -- the clogs have a fairly significant heel height on them and if I wear them for long periods of time my back is killing me! For just short term wearing they are very comfortable and sturdy- and look good with jeans.

I have the Santa Cruz clogs and I love them. They are my work shoes (I'm a flight attendant) and they are so comfy and have really held up well.

I have several pairs of the older Sport Clogs and I adore them. The Santa Cruz clogs seem to be a little smaller and stiffer than the old Sport Clogs--maybe go up a half size?

I wore mine for years when I worked emergency and they were lifesavers. I just wish they still made the Sport Clogs.

One thing to consider: I did buy a pair of closeouts once through Sierra Trading, and I never could get those suckers to break in. I don't know if they had sat around too long and dried out or what, but they were horrible. I finally gave the to Goodwill.
