The g00ns.net business was thankfully easily resolved. I've received some questions from you and I'm going to try to answer the main ones here. 1. Is my computer safe now? Yes. However, I would recommend changing any passwords shared between this site and any others, and running your spyware sweeper and virus protection programs. If you don't have either of these, I personally recommend AVG Free Anti-Virus, and Tenebril Spycatcher Express, both available free from www.download.com. 2. Aren't there terrible holes in this board's security? Well, yes. However, the reason we went with InvisionFree is that it is known to have the best security of the available message board systems. That said, the internet is never 100%, and hackers can use methods to get through little loopholes. Luckily, InvisionFree's IT people are very good, as you can see- the board wasn't down for very long! 3. Were we targeted? No. G00ns.net is just a bunch of people who have nothing better to do. They hacked into a lot of the InvisionFree forums and did the same thing to them as to us. It wasn't personal. If you have any other questions, feel free to post here, and I'll be glad to address them. In the meantime, thank you for your patience, and we're glad to all be back on the bridge, Chaaaaaaarlie!
