someone I'm very close to got the blues recently and is having a hard time and being close and watching it I think one of the hardest parts about the blues is feeling guilty for having the blues. Don't get caught in that trap of feeling worse because you feel bad that you feel bad. It's a bad cycle. So, my suggestion is planning little tasks and steps that give you a sense of getting something done....like throwing a party for your friends, or a party just to have a party, or making a goal of going out to dinner with each of these people...something that gives you an objective to work toward so you don't start thinking about the whole blahs....bite off a piece of it at a time. |
