So what are your plans.

Anyone looking for Easter bunny eggs?

I found one bunny giving them away.

Shot the Easter Bunny a few years back. Now the new one only brings books instead of candy. We dye some eggs and all. Dinner and a long nap after church. LF

A friend of mine is getting married the day before Easter & I'm one of her bridesmaids - and it's a morning wedding so we have to get up at freaking 4:30am to get ready so I'll probably be fairly comatose come Easter. So all I have plans for on Easter is to go to church with the SO (I'm Jewish so Easter's not exactly my holiday) and then brunch someplace with the housemates. Then I plan on sleeping the rest of the day.

No plans, I used to give Hubby an easter basket, I used to love doing that, but he says why bother, ~Sigh~
And I am too fat for chocolate! ~Double sigh~
I used to color eggs just for me, cause I love how they look!

I will never forget the Easter brunch we went to when my nieces were quite young (they are now 25 and 23).

There was a skiff of snow on the ground that morning and you could look out from the dining room and could see the footprints in the snow of the folks that hid the eggs for the Easter egg hunt. I took the girls to the window and showed them the footprints and explained to them that was where the Easter Bunny went to hide the eggs and when they got out there to just follow the foot prints and they would find all the eggs.

When the it came time for the hunt they were ready! It was so funny to watch them with their little eyes glued to the ground following the footsteps! They won the prize for the most eggs!

This year it will be church and copious amounts of food!

We don't have concrete plans yet as far as family get-togethers. We always go to mass and have some sort of nice dinner. My DD who is almost 13 still loves to color eggs, so we do that because we'll eat them anyway. :) And the Easter Bunny makes a token appearance with just a few Cadbury Creme Eggs (her favorite) and some other non-food treat. Now that we have the toddler around I guess the Easter Bunny will have to keep showing up for a few more years. :P

But at least I have the Easter Bunny and the various grandparents trained to only bring a little bit of candy. Just enough for a nice treat. :)

Ahh how fun, you get to relive all that fun stuff now with Joshua.
Must have easter baskets!
You know I never saw the attraction for Cadbury cream eggs, Bleck~
Give me a good old solid chocolate bunny, Russell Stover to be precise, none of that cheap waxy chocolate. hell if your going to eat bad might as well be something yummy!
