 We are going to upgrade the software to ZetaBoard. Same folks that manage the InvisionFree stuff built the ZetaBoard stuff. I don't know exactly when this will happen and the board will be off line until some changes are made, I will try and let people know.

If one day you can't get on that is what is going on. Or the server is down. I have to re-point the domain name and some other things. Nothing will be lost, it should have a working search function which will be cool and some other things. It will look different.

Don't panic. Hang tight and I hope it will go smoothly.

New Features

* Collapsable categories.
* Color key for online user list.
* Topic/Post search.
* Advanced Account Security page.
* New PM system which groups back and forth messages into a single PM conversation.
* New style for PM pop-up.
* Markers for topics that you have posted in.
* Online status of a user is listed in their posts and profile.
* View a single post page.
* A topic starter can edit topic title if the post can be edited.
* List of all posts made by a member.
* Name history for a member.
* Ignore posts by a member.
* Enhanced avatar gallery.
* New bbcode tags: indent, spoiler, text border color, and text background color.
* Improved support for embedding videos from YouTube.




New Features (may be turned off or not used by the board admin)
* Joinable groups
* Blogs
* Custom profile fields
* Enhanced portal
* Theme (Skin) selector
* Easy system to request a name change

There are also usability, performance, and cosmetic improvements throughout the board. There are also numerous bug fixes.

 I don't know what half that stuff is Lynda....but if you say it's gonna be great then I believe ya'!! I love this BB and I bet there will many who are going to go through withdrawal pains if it's down for more than a minute!! :teehee:

New Features

* Collapsable categories.
Forums you never go to can be clicked on so they become almost invisible. Can aid in loading esp if you are on dial up.

* Color key for online user list.
I believe this will give users colour codes to show their online status ?

* Topic/Post search.
A search feature that give users the ability to have a search item to show up as a individual post or complete topic

* Advanced Account Security page.
This would improve the privacy and security of your account/profile ?

* New PM system which groups back and forth messages into a single PM conversation.
Makes it easier to follow a series of PMs so they show up in a thread format.

* New style for PM pop-up.
You will have a different "look" to your pop up to show when you have a PM

* Markers for topics that you have posted in.

Great feature. It will have something at the side which will show which topics you made a post on. Great for quick run throughs if you are looking for a specific topic you replied to.

* Online status of a user is listed in their posts and profile.
This is something that will show in your profile that will tell others if you are online or offline.

* View a single post page.
Great feature. Instead of say copying a whole thread somewhere and explaining the post number to look at you can copy the URL of a single post.

* A topic starter can edit topic title if the post can be edited.
The original poster can change the title of their post. Great if you have an update then you can put that in the title.

* List of all posts made by a member.
Another great feature that allows you or anyone else to look at any other posts made by that person anywhere else on this site.

* Name history for a member.
Unsure of this so I am assuming if the user changed their profile name then it will be listed?

* Ignore posts by a member.
Annoyed at someone then you can ignore them. This does not protect you from other members posts where that person is quoted in though.

* Enhanced avatar gallery.
A selection of avatar pictures for those that are unable for whatever reason to find or be happy with something on the net or on their computer.Should be easy to select and enter.

* New bbcode tags: indent, spoiler, text border color, and text background color.
Sounds like skin enhanment. Won't affect the individual member that much but could make the enviroment nicer.

* Improved support for embedding videos from YouTube.
Easier ways to put youtube videos into your post. Would this appy to music videos also?

* Joinable groups
You have have select groups ( usually listed by the admin) that you could be eligible for, especially is some forums are made for select groups.

* Blogs
I guess we all know what they are so no explanation needed.

* Custom profile fields
Select profile fields such as special wording under your avatar is one example.

* Enhanced portal
Sort of a "personal page" just for you where many items can be displayed.

* Theme (Skin) selector
If you don't like the default blue colour here you would be able to change it.

* Easy system to request a name change
Don't like your username...new way to change it.

So how many did I get right????????????

 Well, it's happened! We have upgraded, but there are a few kinks, including the fact that Seal can't log on. :teehee: We will be back up and running as good as new soon!!!!

I have some editing to do but I'm going to do it with you all on here since the thing fell apart. So things will change. I don't like the color combination so much. And our logo has gone missing but when Renn gets back from the horse show that will get fixed. Oy.
