 well there is a lot of stuff to do.

I am starting this up again and it will be open.

I need to look at the original thread and sift out the goofy stuff and bring up the research that was done already. I will do that shortly.

Do feel free, however, to start talking about this, and adding input, comments, thoughts whatever...

 Does any one know what this is? http://www.hellohorse.com/ - North American TB Society? Who is involved with this? I can't seem to find anything on the web site as to a Board of Directors or anything.

I don't know anything about that group, seal. The only one I had heard of with the exception of the PHR is TASR (THoroughbred and Sporthorse registry I think). :huh:

 I'd never heard of TASR. I will have to hunt that down.

PHR had been owned by The Jockey Club - it got sold to the USEF it is now open to every breed not just TBs and TB crosses.

I still have to clean up that thread we started ages ago. Pluck out the good stuff and put it here.

 I wish the PHR was never sold. Might have made it possible to get those AI conceived mares approved WB since they only recognize JC.

It was given to USEF in the hopes that it would continue on and build a database of TB sporthorses. that didn't happen obviously.

I'm confused as to what you all are trying to do--do you have a synopsis?

 I was under the impression that someone on COTH had a hand in organizing the Hello Horse site, or in the registration itself. One of the TB people (obviously) perhaps War Admiral?

But looking back on that statement, I find it a little suspicious... wouldn't she has been more vocal about it on COTH??

Ned Bonnie paid for it and gave it to the USEF - it was not given to Ned Bonnie.
