OK, I am truly not making this up. This is happening right now and I'm sure the local media will be all over it. You guys are getting the first scoop. Guy comes home for lunch because he is expecting a package delivery. He has a mail slot in his front door so the mail goes directly into the house. He finds a *finger* on the floor with his FedEx package. Luckily, the guy is a paramedic so he did not immediately fall over or drop dead or anything. He packed the appendage in ice and called the police. "Ummmm, has anybody reported that they are missing something?" So the 911 center did track down the injured FedEx driver, who took himself to the hospital after delivering more than he intended to one customer's house. It seems the homeowner has two dogs, one of whom was not too happy about the hand that invaded HIS mail slot. Ouch. I'm ashamed to say that I find this very hilarious, but it's been a rough couple of weeks, and it's a lot better story than the poor woman who threw herself off the Interstate 95 bridge into the river on Tuesday. Today's story is expected to have a happy ending, as the FedEx driver and his finger are being reunited as we speak. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming. |

Update. The dogs are off the hook. It was a mail slot malfunction. |

Sick!! I'm glad the little doggies aren't to blame though. But, again,
