OK it must be me...but: :mallet:

When I joined in '04, they supported USDF/DSHB Awards...in '05 they decided not too! For several years, my nice mare hasn't had her photo in the USDF Connection, despite being #1 in this society

This year, again as #1 in the Maiden yeld group, they decided to put a three year old into the 4 year old group for their in-hand awards...at first they had a Materiale horse in first place...but I pointed out it wasn't an in-hand horse! Now since the % for conformation and movement differ with fillies and mares in-hand one might think they would realize that a 3 year old doesn't belong in the maiden/yeld group :-)

Last few years they included PHR/Silver Stirrup Awards won by American Warmbloods, in their mimeographed newsletter... but this year they decided not to! Funny, My Mare was National Champion & Zone 3 Champion Dressage Breeding Mature Horse. So it must be me right?

Lastly, their website states: Hall Of Fame Horses -
These recognized successful horses have earned this honor through one of the following:

Won a USA National Championship [in one of the AWS recognized Disciplines] (they just posted this last part [in one of the AWS recognized disciplines] on 2/1/08 AFTER the FACT!
Of course they give awards for In-Hand, right?...must be missing my glasses :-)
So, I requested that my Mare who received a National Championship be included...
NOPE!!!! Not the KIND of National Champion they select!!!

Then one has to wonder since the family who owns the registry makes their own decisions, why is it that people don't respect them???? Beats me!

Not renewing for obvious reasons!

Pass the popcorn!
