Okay, I'm one of the computer challenged, so it's taken me awhile to be able to import video, edit video, and then figure out how to take that whole lil' package over and get it uploaded on MyTube...but I did it!!! So, here's a bit of old footage of Mannhattan from his 100 Day Stallion Testing back in 1996. Boy does THAT seem like a long time ago <smile>...

Gonna work my way through videos I have at home and see if I can't put together a new DVD on the boy. Everything I have is on VHS (how archaic is THAT?? Shocked )

Enjoy!

That was fun! lol! I commented! How awesome is it you had Richard Spooner ride your guy? I loved sending sale horses to him.

<smile>...Yeah, it was awesome. That was way back "when". Richard had actually asked to take on Mannhattan after riding him in the testing. Wished I had jumped on that opportunity but hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20 :brickwall: I absolutely love his riding style and he seems to get the most out of all of his horses. Really nice guy, too <smile>. John French was the other jumping test rider. Mannhattan got 9's on his jumping at the 100 Day Test and won the jumping portion of the testing. But it is fun looking back at the old footage.

My hunter trainer used to send horses to him all the time, but it started dying down after he got Robbie. I loved smoochin on that gelding! lol! A lot of us think that he did so well with Richard because he just loved him so much.
It was a fun topic of conversation with a jumper I groomed for just after world cup. She's know Richard for a long time and remembered him in his first riding days as a junior! I would have jumped all over sending my young stallion to him if I got an offer like that!

(edited, TOC ate the second part)
