Thinking Grandbaby has designs for a larger Model, that she knows FOR SURE will not ever be for sale. (Last time Michelle was here for a visit, ....she and Leslie pulled out dear old Dad "Pacific Star" for an hour lesson. ) THINKING DH, now has yet another competitor, coming up fast for his place in the saddle!! Grandbaby is now taller than Gramps, with even longer legs.....and hopefully, will get time to be putting on extra mileage this year in the saddle. Then in 2 more years, if the want and knowledge to show continue..... will be able to Show Skye's Big Daddy under the guidance of Gramps & Leslie. Cindy had a chance to do a mini road test on the new lady today inbetween lessons etc., and quite liked her! With the Clinic here tomorrow , we probably will not get time with her under saddle until Monday, so will let you know more then.Possibly still needing an official name for her?? I believe, if my memory serves me still..... this Filly is out of a QH X TB Dam, but certainly one of their 3 Fillies from Pacific Star. Her owners are presently engaged in more pertinant things at present.....Will update you when I find out more. The Dark Fella is the one I had chosen for my next "CLASSY Harness Candidate" CDE. However ..... DH and Elizabeth, had already started off a smaller 15H Warmblood Filly by Rasputen in harness, for my "Granny Mobile", Christmas Surprise. ( Shorter is good ,after the arm operation for me!)( Bobcat though.... is a classy beautiful mover, with such a lovely temperment, and lots of brains, to compliment the presence.) LOL....Might still be perswading DH, to add a little extra Harness time with this young fellow when breaking time comes due!

Thanks guys... Just noticed....in my special....first camera venture.... I have a bird house mounted on CP's Butt in the photo! Maybe......it's the extra fertilizer from the birds , that is causing him to grow so fast!

Good job on the photos CS Of course you have gorgeous subjects to work with! I keep wondering if I really need a car. Maybe I should just trade it in for CS. (Of course I do not remember him having a birdhouse coming out of his butt?
) He's absolutely stunning. And Bob is so handsome, all growed up. I remember stabling across from him at one of the shows, when he was 1 day old. What a sweetie pie.If either of them are anywhere near as amazing to work with as their brother Pacific Skye, they will be golden. Honestly, we fall in love with him every time JTM rides him all over again He's so even tempered, has spooked twice this whole winter and is never lunged before being ridden. He's friendly and interested and brave (has jumped even a few solids that we have pointed him at) without having any attitude. We have tried lead changes 6 times and they have all been complete and no big deal. The hardest thing about owning him is making sure that we don't rush his training. He is just so happy to try whatever you ask.I mean come on. Are you absolutely sure he's not 4 yet? We couldn't dream up anything more that we would want in a horse. to your breeding program. It's a good thing we don't have our own barn or I know we would be filling it with Pacific Star babies

They are indeed a handsome pair, and are going to make us squirm putting them on a sales list!
However....DH and I are not getting any younger, and are just going to be thinking of cutting back, and Breeding a few Good Mares, to keep our hand into things, and it sure is NICE to see the Quality of Owners, that are stopping by to see and purchase the Furry Kids! ( These Babies are just like Grandchildren to us!) LOL.....We voted in your absence BT.....and decided a New Son would be much better than a New Car! Give JTM and Skye a ((((Big Hug))))) from us Northern Cannuckians. Will have to go watch that pair in action some time!"THE SHADOW".....was here today doing some Video of Starbo, and 4 of the Starletts! There is a short Video out now, and hopefully a New longer Version will be immerging shortly. |
