:) Thought I would share these Winter shots we took of my little Fellas on Monday, before the big storms raged through.
Bay Colt is Canadian Pacific, and Black ,"now happy Gelding is Pacific Bobcat. (Both are Warmblood boys, and Pacific Star STV offspring.)

:one: Fortunately the Warmblood contingent in the barn, all seem to be carrying much lighter winter coats. They still do have an adequate warm layer, but thank goodness no where near most of the others housed here. "The Pony guys look like Yaks!"
Both of these youngsters move out very well for Dressage, but can sure haul their buns over a free jump with ease like their father Pacific Star!.
The Black Kid is out of a Royal Alex daughter. (Royal Alex is a Grand Prix Dressage Horse, still residing up here with Jon Costin. His Dam' Mare line, is Tamarack2, who was a producer of Top Hunter, and Halter Horses.
The Bay fella's Mom is the Mare we purchased in the fall, by Rio Grande, and on the Dam's side, out of a Dutch X TB Mare. (Thinking if CP maintains his present course and temperament....this might be a GREAT Stallion prospect, as well as performance horse.)

HEY.......We also just had a lovely 6 Yr. old 16 H Filly by Pacific Star and out of a QH X TB Dam arrive this morning , for SALE. ( Her owners are having some serious Medical Problems, and are now having to move the Horses out to show homes.
(Not sure yet exactly how she goes, as the weather right now is not condusive for anything, but just keeping everything from blowing away......but will post her later, when we get some good pics.)
Here is a quickie taken when she arrived off the trailer, just before the first storm system hit. :) Sorry, we only had time for a quick shot when we turned her out for a stretch. (Will hopefully get some decent photos this weekend...."weather permitting"!) Will show you her Bling sticks etc!

Hey CS...How is the weather where you are? The storm just started here in Ottawa about 11, but it is coming down pretty fast. The filly is a looker too!

But the black gelding really wants to live in Ottawa.... :P

Weather today has been not too bad at all. We did receive a dumper of about 6 to 8 " of snow....however the winds were light so far, and the freezing rain did not hit here. Will be a mess though if the winds pick up for driving!

However we are hosting a Sylvia Galbraith Photo Clinic for achieving Winter shots "for the next Xmas Cards etc."......So was really hoping for this snowfall!

Hey....Black Dressage Babe with Bling, would look great down that way!!!!! :one:

Oh my gosh CP is all grown up!!! He needs to come live with his brother ;) ... and Bob looks great, your grand daughter is going to look darling on him!

That new one is GORGEOUS! Send me some pictures of her when you get a chance please, with her stats!! Does she have a Pacific name yet? I have one I really want to use but maybe I will save it for my next Pacific Star baby! :innocent:

Those guys need to speak to their older brother about having a light coat...Skye's is at least 4 inches long. <_<
