Next time you're out introduce yourself. :)

I really can't express how grateful I am for Val as a trainer...she is really great, and very ethical and honest to boot!
What is your first name? I'm still only getting to know people by first name. We might have already met. I'm Jana.

I typically am out there Wed & Fri nights during the week and Sat/Sun during the days.
It was nice to finally meet you today!
And you! Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself!

If you get stuck staying, have current trainer prepare a profile of each student so fill-in instructor knows what they are working on. Or introduce yourself at the beginning of the lesson, and state what you are working on, and what you'd like to do in the lesson. If you feel the instructor is uber self-absorbed, and you are not gaining anything from listening, quietly drift away and resume riding.

I would also try Marti Bigley who trains out of Fox Chase in Middleburg. She has a couple of lesson horses, one who I used to show a lot in the 2'6" and he's a great teacher (the horse  ) Marti is very good too. If interested, I'd be happy to PM along her info.
