I just show in a CO Hampton. As much as I completely LOVE the GR8, I know that no matter what happens, the Hampton will always be correct. Plus it doesnt make my head look so big. Im pretty skinny and I have a GPA and an IRH and both make my head look to big for my neck. They stay at home for schooling. |

We are in Region 15 and my daughter did show equitation as a junior and still does the adult stuff when offered. Riders MUST wear an approved helmet in all AHA Hunter Seat Medal classes in any case. She was very succesful under both hunter judges and Arabian judges but ALWAYS wore what is open hunter appropriate! (no "show bows", hunter hair, approved helmet, moving up to a GPA and the CO was the latest) We do mostly working hunters and sport horse with the occassional foray into hunter pleasure but the attire doens't change! :-) |
