RHowell, I vaguely remember from the prizelist that the course designer was someone JLoh knows pretty well ;)

Might be hitting the Swan Lake jumper show in January--we were supposed to go to Talbot Run or Bascule to get Mr Jumper out last month and then it snowed all week (no indoor) so he didn't get enough work. After January, I'll be on a 90-day detail and curtailing my riding even more than it currently is... :sigh: But hopefully it will be a good career move. Gotta keep the ponies in carrots, ya know!

Well, December sucked for riding with hosting the families for the holidays. I don't think I have ridden in 3 weeks. I will probably be with SMS and show at Swan Lake if I can start riding after Christmas. My boy is pretty much back to basics with training so we will probably not do too much until late spring.

I sit out the winter, time to let the batteries recharge for myself and my boy. I have a clinic to go to today, I am supposed to ride at 4pm. But right now it's 25 with 45 mph wind gusts. I am trying to decide if this is going to be worth it or not! My indoor is not heated. <_<

i was thinking that was the logical answer, but somehow it seemed like it was going to be funnier than that.?????

I was just joking RHowell. I feel certain there will be at least one change of direction in each class :)

Nothing wrong with all outside lines. Especially after having a fun lesson of long approaches to an oxer!!!

J. Loh hasn't even mentioned that she gets to show Leo the Great in the Adults at Swan Lake!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :innocent:

I need to work up the courage to take Archie back to Raleigh. He was vewwy, vewwy silly last time. I'm thinking I need to do a C show and A show back to back to get him comfortable in that ring again. February or March perhaps?

I am down here in little BC, Canada...so I will be sticking to the local schooling shows to get my out of shape, silly TB mare, who just came off mommy duty back into a working state of mind hopefully!

Gardnertown in Newburgh NY this past weekend was a nice facility for the Icicle Circuit. :)

The best is that they have a huge indoor to warm up and school in ( not that I do anyway... Phoebe does  ) and an even bigger ring to show in. The only time you have to step outside is to arrive and leave. Goodie and I were Reserve Champs in the A/O's out of nine. I really have to stop picking up the wrong lead in the opening circle... I wound up 5th with a perfect round. :psycho:
The others in our barn were What About Me.. Champ A/A's, Loretta.. Champ Childrens hunters, Cover Girl.. Reserve Children's hunters, and Wayward Wind... Champ large children's hunter ponies...

I am going to attempt Our Farm this weekend even though they don't have a sufficient warm up area... ( outside weather permitting :pissed: ) but it's 5 minutes from the farm... and I can possibly squeeze it in. I can change my mind at the last minute ... I do that frequently.

Then Swan Lake in January. :one:

I have not been to Ashley Meadows in 12 years to show, and will NEVER go back! I was never treated so poorly and rudely at any other show I attended. :censored:

Happy Holidays to All!

And Lim... your horse is so cool, and you ride him so well... go for it! :cheer:

Congrats and good luck at Our Farm. I always managed to ride really well there even without a warm up area and let us know how it is with new management.

We'll see you at Swan Lake in Jan. The first day of the A/Os is my birthday so stop by for some adult beverages after we show.....or maybe before! :P
