What do big R judges get paid per day. I know there will be quite a range, but someone told me it was less than a certain amount, which I found very hard to believe.

I think it's right around $450/day plus per diem and travel. It's pretty standard, I think that they set a price at the beginning of the year, and everyone goes with it, so everyone is on an even playing ground. I'm sure the bigger judges, that have been judging for years get more, but this is about what we paid our "R" judges last year at the one show that I'm healvily involved in.

Ones I know get anywhere from 450 -750 per day up to around 1500 a day for the biggest R names. I"ve also seen Rs get around 250 a day for local shows. But no, commonly it's not a lot.
