Ok...I'm doing a little poll here...what pony pre-fixes stand out to you as the "best" from years back? When I was little (a long time ago) I used to read about all the winning ponies and saw certain prefixes that meant something to me...the prefixes meant these were some of the best ponies out there showing. Which ones come to mind to you...from years past (at least 10 years back or longer)?

Thanks!

Cindy

My sister and I wanted a Liseter pony! Farnley was popular, but not quite as prestigious as Liseter. Coed Coach had several ponies around PA. Uh oh, I am really dating myself! :P

I always wanted a pony with a Prefix, it didn't matter which one. I finally did 30 years after the fact when I bought a Hillcrest for Ella.

Tantallon ponies have always been a favorite of mine.

Im also partial to Medicine Man babies who normally have the Breezeway prefix or are named something indian.

And my mom's ponies all have an ESF prefix, so of course they are my favorite

When I was little we actually got to go down to the Farnley farm and get the grand tour....I was in LOVE! We almost bought one of the crosses there as well.

Had a Glenmore pony for a W/T pony with the best daisy-cutter trot, taught the kid to jump. Have always loved the Farnley's/Shenandoah's. Had a Shenandoah Lg. and bought a Med. Farnely at the last dispersal sale who threw a lovely foal for me this year. The Farnley tour is amazing, sooo many ponies. Woodlands always impressed me. Basically I just LOVE ponies!

I rode and showed Hillcrest ponies and loved them best. Also really liked the Woodland's ponies. This was mid to late 80's and early 90's.

There were/are some very nice GlanNants and their bloodlines seem to be quite influential in todays hunter ponies.

I always wanted to find a no-name pony of unknown breeding who just happened to be competitive and name it Farnley Schmarnley. I think that'd be funny as hell. :teehee:
