According to this link http://www.almanac.com/astrology/index.php But it does not mention blood in the feet which was the 18th, 19th, and 20th..the best days for Nov, but the above link has different says.. VABred usually has the correct days with blood in the feet..so hopefully she will see this. I will say, I had 2 of mine castrated on the 16th and it went like clock work and just 4 days later you can't even tell it happened!!! A friend of mine had one done on the 14th and his lining fell out..which can happen from the rings being too large inside the horse, but you won't know unless something comes out...just a risk of gelding..but very scary!!! |

Hmm, I weaned on the 14th & it was totally uneventful. I'm sure it helped that the mare was taken off the property, but it was definitely the smoothest weaning I've had so far. The mare is currently at the QH barn up the street making eyes at the QH reining stallion though. There won't be any accidents but still.....

Dates for December? Here you go: December 11th, 12th and 13th - blood is in the knees December 14th and 15th - blood is in the calves December 16th and 17th - blood is in the feet. I would wean on the 15th. That will give you three good days in a row. It's always best to wean when the blood is in the feet, so by starting on the 15th, you're heading that way. Good Luck!

I just have to ask what all of this blood in various body parts means? Does it help when you are weaning? Why does it help? |

Helps aid the "saneness" of the weaning. Old timers (generations ago) always weaned their cows by the moon signs and this has evolved to many, many equine breeders. Try it. |
