MODS--IF THIS IS NOT OK, PLEASE DELETE AND LET ME KNOW IF THERE IS AN ACCEPTABLE WAY TO DO THIS! THANKS!

Hey All:

I'm stealing this from TOB--cause it's a good idea :)

Why don't our members that have businesses post their info here in case any of our Secret Santas OR regular folk would like to support our TOC business owners this holiday season.

For example I would post

1. Nature of your products
2. Website/contact info
3. Any special info needed to share
4. Any discounts offered to TOC members.

Here is mine:

1. My mother and I own and embroidery business. We can do anything that is monogrammable in any quantity. We have done barn shirts/jackets/hats, Horse sheet, coolers, saddlepads (trainers LOVE these as gifts) plus any of the more traditional things like custom stockings, tree skirts, placemats, towels, napkins. We can do pretty much anything. We just did a pillow with a cruise ship and a monogram!
2. Best contact is email embroider.this@gmail.com , Martha Mason is the contact person.
3. No special info other than we are really really affordable. We have done stuff for several barns and they are always thrilled at our prices.
4. Let's do 10% discount for anyone mentioning TOC when ordering.

Now, I know that I would rather support other TOC members than some faceless company so please come to this thread and post your businesses. :one:

Great idea, but does it have to be just for Christmas? Can their be a permanent referral place? I would much rather order from some one I'm at least familiar with, then some faceless entity. <_<

Excellent idea Lawn Dart. I would SO much rather support people I enjoy and have gotten to know from here. I'ts an awesome idea. I have no business to offer but I can spend money!
Knownder You business sounds wonderful. How does it work. Do I buy the items I would like embroidered and send them to you? I have long wanted to have embroided stockings for some select horses. IF that is Viable what is the material you would require. IT would be 3 horses. :)

You can do it either way. Because we have a wholesale license and accounts, we can generally get things like material, or shirts, hats, jackets at a much cheaper price than the public. Horsey items for whatever reason are about the same price (pads, sheets, coolers, etc.) so those you would generally get.

However, if you have items you already have or that are specialty, you can send them to us and we'll put the purty stuff on them :) A woman just sent us pillow cases from Carnival cruise lines to monogram so she got those herself--we put the cruise ship she was on, its name and the year on the pillow--it looked awesome!

I know I'm related, but I CANNOT stress enough how unbelievably gorgeous and original our Christmas stockings are--they are one of a kind and not terribly expensive.

The nice thing is, being a small shop, we can order any quantity from one of something to 1000 :)

Let me know if you or anyone has any additional questions--I'll be happy to answer them!

Come on guys I know there are other business owners out there--I didn't mean for this thread to just be the Knownder thread

You guys need to give me some shopping options!

And I think a permanent directory pinned up top would be fantastic!

I would be interested in hearing about the stockings, 2 would be for my Students 2 horses and if not too expensive one for my boy, I have had him almost 10 years and he has no stocking. Heck even the cats have stockings. My idea for my student would be to get the stockings and then I would stuff them with treats. Simple but nice. I always buy her show stuff and then someone told me the student is supposed to buy the trainer something, She does as well LOL
If you want you can email me details..

Again this is a wonderful idea for year round! :):) Thanks for thinking of it. :one:

I'll build:

www.sevenhundreddollarpony.com

I sell books. Well, book. So far, I've published only the one. A second one is coming this time next year.

I was also thinking, Knowonder, when the CoTH list is published next week that we should post it here, too. There are a whole lot of nice gift ideas on the list, whether the business people post here or not.

Ok I'll join in here.
#1 The Original Equine Protectavest
Blaze Orange horsewear for hunting season and riding safety and visibility.Custom orders welcome.
But- hey you don't have to wait for Christmas...

#2Leather Photo Albums & Day Planner/Address Books w/ Horse Themes

These are one of a kind..made with genuine leather inside and out and sport saddle or bridle silver, Montana Silvesmith and Crumrine belt buckles, and whatever else I can fit onto the front of an album. AND many horse breeds...Just listed one with a cute genuine Liverpool miniature horse driving bit.. :rose: Disciplines include pleasure, jumping, reining, roping, cutting, barrels, poles, driving, dressage..etc.
These are listed in my Ebay store where you can see pictures, prices, shipping and descriptions. They all have a buy it now price so you don't have to shop victoriously (new Ebay logo-personally I think that one stinks but-Hey- I don't run Ebay)
New stuff added as I can get it made....bookmark the site and keep checking back.
If you are Ebay adverse I can pull an item for you to buy. For you Ebay addicts...here's your fix!
Now you all know what I do in my 'spare' time... :point: (sigh-someday this will BE my day job....sigh...)
