Hi all! We are beginning our search for a good video camera for sales videos, and I'd like to hear which cameras you love or hate and why. Thanks in advance! |

I look at sales videos - not a lot of help but - I like to see the horse - NOT the camera moving around so a tri-pod friendly one is a must. I like videos that keep the horse in focus - no fuzz or funky in-out-in-out eye bender stuff. I like no camera noise - ability to turn off sound - but sometimes I do like to hear the horse's hoof cadance too. I like the plug in kind b/c I have seen tapes made over many days as the battery dies again and again. |

The kind that takes 5lbs. off the rider... I just made a sale video for my project pony, and let me tell you, watching video of yourself riding can lead to serious self esteem issues! Not only self flagellation about my riding skills, but OMG look at my A$$!!
Anyway, we have a Canon Elura 80 that I really like. Small, easy to use, works with a tripod, good quality video, and long battery life. |
