Just curious what others like best. I have a whole slew of them and haven't decided what i like best. I like Zout and some other "oxy" product I have but open to suggestions. Not sure about Shout or some others. |

OxyClean rocks my world. Seriously. You can add it to a load, or mix it with water in a squirt bottle and use it as a pre-treat. It even got red wine out of my white carpet! Excellent stuff. |

I like Clorox 2, it's not really a stain remover, but I always forget to treat stains anyway, and it seems to really get my stuff clean! Tide pens are also AMAZING if you remember to treat your stain at the time it happens! |

ok, so... you washed and dried your favorite tshirt and discover there are 2 ugly-ass stains right in the front (probably olive oil from some superb pasta dish which drooled right down your chin heehee) any ideas on how to fix THAT

MMmMMmMMm, BH, you're making me hungry!
Try the OxyClean. They make a spray form too, Oxy sonething-or-other that works really well. Pre-treat, then add some to your washer too. |

soak the spots with stain remover (I think I use Shout) and just let them sit for a couple of days, even a week and then just wash as usual. I've gotten some nasty grease stains out even after they have been through the washer and dryer. Seriously the longer that you let the stain remover remain on the spot, the better chance you have to get it out. |

I've got the shout gel with the little brush thingy on the end, and it seems to work really well for all the things my 3-yr old son manages to coat himself in  |

I had luck getting Fiebings Hoof Oil off the front of a brand new polo shirt with Murphy's Oil Soap. One of the kids at the barn who was an artist - painted with oil paints and frequently got the stuff on her clothes told me that trick. It WORKED. I had destroyed the shirt the first time I wore it! Typical. I use Shout for grass stains. I've used OxyClean as well. |

Hey, BH1...I don't know the name of the product..but it's brand new..and they are marketing it as the one to use when you have an old stain..maybe someone will remember the name..or you can look at the laundry aisle... My next door neighbor has the BEST smelling stuff coming out of her dryer vent!!!! I'm sooooo tempted to go and ask her what she uses...it smells soooo nice... HH
