I agree, I think one price range would be best, we can pick something not too high, like $25, so anyone can join in even if they don't have much extra spending money. It's so much fun no matter how much you spend! I personally love finding little things that make a package special! :)

And since Steph had me last year I can say she is VERY good at fun stuff. :P

I'd like to be included too. I never did at the TOB either for fear of not having someone follow through and it just seemed so large.

Everyone here is like a big happy family so I'd love to find something special for someone else.

I vote for one price range (keeps it so much simpler the first time around), names given out by Oct 12 (if that gives you enough time??? That's two weeks for everyone to send their personal info to you) and pressies sent no later than Dec 7.

I think that would work - let me consult a calender today and see what I can come up with. I think Sannois idea of a new thread with an official SIGN UP FOR SECRET SANTA works - I can list everyone I already have on the first post and then new adds can go from there. I can post a list of questions for people to answer, etc.

It all sounds good to me.

We can pin/sticky the new sign up thread to the top of the forum as well. Let one of us know.

As silly as it might sound- I just LOVE secret santas.
I participated in a Secret Santa last year at an international board and it was sooo much fun - I got the most lovable printed fleece saddle cover- it's red with white sheep on it...and everyone asks me about it- apart from it being great to keep my saddle protected...:) so count me in as well...please!

i prefer having multiple price ranges (some like the challenge of finding the great under $10 gift, others like having something a little more elaborate)...but not too many ranges...maybe

Not including shipping!!!!!!! maybe

$25 and under

$50

and

$100

Seems ok.. ITs nice if people have the choice, but then there have to be enough in each price range to match up. RR is the official Setter upper! LOL We will see what she comes up with! I thought of doing it but am oh so glad she offered to organize cause I am not the best at that sort of thing! LOL :P

it would be fun to have brackets and also to post secret wishlists...which one could use for the shopping - of course the details have to be given so the gift can be really successful. I find it nice to match up folks from very different geographical areas because they usually have very different products to choose from...and that's fun...:)
