I'm tired and I don't want you all to ever have to look at Paris' parts on this BB again. I think I caught that last one right away. People are New Members until they post once. Then they get promoted to real members. New Members can't start topics, which is what the spam bots do. I'm updating the member group for everyone that I know is a real person as we speak. It's going to take awhile - if you reply to a topic you will get promoted and I won't have to do it manually but for the old membership permission mask I'm going to turn off the ability to start topics. If you want to start a new topic post something on another thread and then you will be able to. At some point in time we will be upgrading board software and it has among other things a way to keep the bad bots off the site, it also has a search function that works but until then this is the only answer to the spam issue. And thank you Seal....give yourself a raise!!! I know what will make your life easier.....get in touch with the spammers and tell them to post shots of hunky men!!! Then just take your time removing them....especially on those cold snowy days when we're stuck in the house with nothing else to do but stare at the computer!
