Here goes nothing. Eventing horse for half-lease (share expenses) available in Dexter, Michigan, approx. 25 minutes west of downtown Ann Arbor. 6-y.o. unraced Thoroughbred gelding who has already completed two horse trials in 2006 at Beginner Novice level and two schooling jumper shows at 2'6". Placed in all four shows. Very even-tempered and eager to please, but because he is still somewhat green, needs intermediate rider or above (Pony Clubber D3 or above or someone already schooling 2'6" or higher over fences). Strongly prefer that horse stay where he is at a great barn with indoor/outdoor arenas and popular local trainer.

$225 to ride 3x weekly, possibility of working off some of the expenses with barn work, show opportunities for the right rider. Prefer someone who will take lessons at least twice monthly, and all the better if you'd prefer weekly or twice-weekly lessons. I am not in a hurry to find someone, but would love to make a long-term arrangement once we do find a match. This is the perfect situation for a teenager whose parents don't want to commit to horse ownership before college.
