Desilu - Sammy looks pretty mellow considering what he has gone through. And he sure has grown. What a handsome boy. Congrats on getting through Day One.

I am waiting to pack until tomorrow. Might as wait until the last minute. However, the real question is whether Stacey has finished, let alone started, cleaning her house.

I am pretty excited on seeing the Duke on Friday. We will also be stopping at Genevieve's so I will get to meet the famous Suerte and Elvis and all the other GH mommas and babies. I will post pics of my journey as soon as I can.

And the answer to that would be Stacey is officially panicking. :spew: I will be cleaning like crazy tonight & tomorrow, removing the (clean - they are brand new) horse blankets from the guest bedroom, dusting, scrubbing, putting sheets on the bed & trying to hide the trainwreck that is my house. However, my horses are very clean now (all had a bath today) & I suppose that's all that matters. The dogs are next and if I could bathe the cats without dying, I would. ;) :innocent:

I am very excited to see Duke. I saw him at 5 days but have not seen him since as well as the others, some of which I have not met yet.

Desilu, Sammy is so grown up & sounds like he's handling everything well!

I will also be taking my camera, so with Clearound's permission, I will probably be able to post pics of Duke if she can't.

Clearound - I'm totally jealous of your big adventure. Not only do you get to snuggle with your little man, you get to do a Glenhill drive by..............How cool is that!

I can not wait to see pictures. I'll bet Duke is all that and more.

Survived day 2 with no casualties......and zero airs above the ground today. :one: (I actually had to cluck at him to make him walk faster toward the end. :jaw: ) Allison did the morning shift and I did the after work shift. I think we may venture out to circle the rather dried up pond tomorrow.

Alicia - you should be very proud of your little grandson. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I am the mostest proud! :) This is going to sound corny/mooshy please forgive me but when I turned down the check it was my curiosity to see if "the man" was a freak fluke or if he was a product of genetics. Sammy and the others are proving to me it was worth it to say no. THANKS!!!!! I am so blessed to have some great co mother in laws!

Stitches out today! It took longer to cut his wrap off than take the stitches out. He stood like a perfect little gentleman.

He is not a morning little guy..........the morning walks are slow and sleepy and needing much encouragement to walk on.

The afternoon - much different but still not bad.

Here he is at the end of his afternoon walk. We thought we might as well work on standing while we are at it.

But when all is said and done.......he much prefers nose kisses.

I am devastated I missed Spacely and Clearound on the foaling cams...... :P Hopefully everyone is having a good time and we'll be able to see pictures soon.

He looks great! What a good boy.
It was great getting to meet clearound and see spacely again. I hope they had a nice visit. Elvis was quite the stinker and gave poor clearound a 'kiss' on the cheek. Bad Elvis.

Of course he prefers nose kisses, as well he should as a patient. :P What a doll - glad he's doing well.

Bad Elvis.

Now Genevieve you know that's an oxymoron. My favorite CA colt couldn't be anything but a perfect little angel. :innocent:

I hope Clearound's "kiss" didn't leave too big a mark. Arnica gel will help it to fade.

Hi Elvis *waving from Ohio*
