Can't go wrong with a nice narrow leather Halter with a matching lead, or soft cotton lead rope. |

I personally like the rolled nose halters, but a nice quality halter from Quillin or Walsh or any of the nicer strapgoods places would probably be more than sufficient. |

I have found the Quillin and Walsh too heavy looking for my wants in a foal halter. I have had the really nice dark and fairly thin foal halters but for the life of me can't remember where I got them. I thought I had gotten them in Warrenton but the last two I got from them were the same heavy leather. And, I don't like the adjustable nose bands. I will be very interested if someone has any other ideas. Never loan your foal halters out, they disappear.
