Our beloved TB stallion died in a tragic accident back in October. The owner of his last colt has a beautiful APHA registered colt she is willing to sell back to me. I would love to have him and asked the hubby if we can buy him back. The answer is we have too many already but it's yes IF 2 leave...so we still end up down a horse in the end. He does not particularly care which 2 or how I do it. There are 2 I will not sell.......they are my keepers. My WB mare and Boomer's last TB filly that was born here. Miss Annihilator: 1990 15.3H bay TB mare. Built like a tank. All her foals (3) have matured to at least 16.2H. First colt (Old/ISR) placed top 10 as a yearling at DAD. Second foal (Old/ISR) rec'd a 7.9 at inspection. Now 4/green under saddle. Unshown yet/owner plans to start showing her in dressage soon. First 2 maturing to 16.2H. BIG build by a refined/modern type WB.....so not recommended for breeding to old style stallions unless you want a Mack truck! Last/third foal is a TB gelding by Boomer. Mature at 16.2 to 17H. Only bred one cover this year/didn't take. Being rechecked on 7/27 to be sure since I really have not seen her in heat since then in spite of the negative US.....she has been a multi cover mare in the past. Step daughter getting married in a couple weeks/broke from wedding expenses.......could not afford to give our girls more than one shot at it this year. Does stall walk and is a super easy keeper on pasture board/excellent feet.....so best suited to a situation where she mostly lives out. None of her 3 foals stall walk. Mare is on the hotter side but all 3 foals have been very easy going. Sound. No health problems. Alpha mare, loves grooming and attention. Nashuas Tune: 1990 16.3H TB mare. Won 50K at the track, retired sound after 49 starts and went on to be a jumper in New England up to 4'6 classes. Race history is documented, of course. Jumper history comes from her previous owner that showed her but not "proveable" through show records per se. I do believe she did though. Mare was retired from jumping due to a recurrent hock cyst a couple years ago. She is in fact stiff on that hock/farrier has to keep it low when trimming her/have vet reports. In spite of her bum hock she has sailed over pasture fences/gates twice here. I imagine she was even better with a GOOD hock! SWEET and quiet mare. Low lady on the social totem pole. A bit of a hard keeper, east slowly and bottom of the heap mare so needs to not be fed in a group situation. Had one WB foal last year. Vets with a uterine cyst but took on one cover last time. Was not bred this year.....had a fairly nasty stifle pull from a pasture accident. Was going to breed her to a lovely local TB but SO didn't want to have her try and stand for the stallion w/ the stifle injury. By the time her leg was better his TB season was done for the season.....so unbred this year. Pics link: http://www.providencefarmpintos.com/defaul...tive_page_id=12 |

Update on Miss Aniihilator (AKA Annie) Well I was right. She has not been seen in heat because she probably IS preggo...along with the other mare that checked not in foal the first go round. Now that she IS preggo is no longer free but I still do need to cut down the number of horses here so is offered for sale now in foal to GP dressage WB Waldaire. Please contact me for price but I assure you it is reasonable and less than the value of this foal. |
