OFFICIAL DISCLAIMER: This is not a "Help Wanted" ad because it's not my barn. I am not in charge of recruiting or hiring. I know nothing about the pay and/or benefits. I just ride there, and keep my horse there.

Here's what I do know: The head instructor at www.hunterscourt.com is leaving at the end of July. This person is responsible for heading up the lesson program, training horses, riding horses for clients and a zillion other things. Clients at this level range from new students who know nothing, up to adults who go to A shows when they can. (The head guy goes to many A shows with more upscale clients.) The web site will tell you a lot about the place. The "Lesson Program" and "Photo Gallery" tabs would be especially helpful. There are about 15 lesson horses, four hard-working working students and two other instructors (one full time and one part time.) There is also a 5 - 7 person barn staff who speak pretty good English, although Spanish would be a plus.

I don't know if housing is provided, but the incumbent has a house on site. I don't know if a stall is provided, but the incumbent has a horse there. I don't know if dogs are ok, but the incumbent has two. I believe the incumbent has been there about 10 years, and is leaving to start her own barn.

So check out the web site, and beam your resume to someone if you're interested. Remember, I'm just putting the word out. I don't know if anyone will get back to you.

The position has been filled...

I received a call about the position, but had already accepted my current job.

However, said trainer/owner DOES have my information if the new hire does not work out...

Looks and sounds like a great position. Maybe I will receive another phone call... :)
