It used to be that I could click that button and a dialogue box would come up where I could put in the link and then another box would come up where I could put in a nickname. Now, when I click that button, all I get is a message that says "Error You must enter a URL You must enter a title"

Help?

Are you speaking of when you post? Or in your profile? Posting a URL you would paste the URL in the first dialogue box and then a "name: in the second for the name of the link - which could be anything.

When I post. As in, in this thread, if I click on the http button, I get the error message. What am I doing wrong?

You have to enter the entire URL then another box comes up and asks what you want to call the link.

Seal -
It doesn't even give me an option. When I click the button, ALL I get is an error. Am I this technologically challenged?

Aha - a box at the top of my window just popped up saying something about allowing scripted windows. When I click that, it finally lets the box open!

Sounds as though you figured out the problem. All the browsers handle things a bit differently. How nice for them - how annoying for the users! Plus people don't have their options all set the same. If you upgraded your browser or changed browsers you might run into some small issues until you get your configuration tweaked just the way you like it.

Sorry I wasn't of more help. Glad it's resolved though.
