fossile he was bred by me and by my home bred stallion Billionair who was by my home bred stallion Issue Of Gold out of my mare Issue...so no mistake about the event horse (the event paly was bred by me and for several generation back), but it was not by Canadian Kid nor has CK ever been broke as far as I know.

Here I am, shouting in BIG, RED LETTERS again! Please leave your arguments on the other bulletin boards. TOC is not a place to come to whine about behaviour on other boards, then instigate that same behaviour here. We don't like it, and if you do it enough times, you'll be asked to leave. I've said it before and I'll say it again... I love y'all like I love my luggage, and I love my luggage A LOT! But please leave YOUR baggage on the other boards and don't tote it along on your trip to The Outside Course. |

The event stallion is Pegasus Pure Gold who is owned by Anne Kaufman and who purchased a breeding to Billionair. She is a very nice lady that is an absolute joy to listen to talk about eventing, which I pretty much know nothing about, but she is so passionate about it that she makes even chicken me want to go give it a try.

I would like to set the record straight. If you are talking about the paly event stallion Pegasus Pure Gold then He is out of MY breeding program. Sorry Norsire, I'm not going to let you take all the credit for this guy. The stallion is only part of the equation. The quality of the mare and the training are the other major parts. I owned the mare and I did all the training that has givin him his current and future success in the eventing world. |

Yes this is correct Anne!
What I meant was the "paly event horse," was bred here at my farm as far as me breeding the mare to my stallion at the time Billionair to your chestnut mare (sorry don't remember her name), but was not Canadian Kid! It was your horse who is doing very well in eventing who is by Billionair whom is a homebred of mine out of my mare Queen Debonair. Billioniair is also by my also home bred stallion Issue Of Gold!!! Congrats!!! BTW another client of mine in KY saw your guy last year in KY and said he looked FABULOUS!!!! She really liked him a lot. She is keeping her Zillionair colt from this year and is planning on keeping him a stallion prospect and eventing him too! That will be really cool to see two event horses that came from my breeding program by my two home bred stallions Billionair and Zillionair!!!I'm glad Dana is keeping you updated on everything!!!

Bridget Yes .. I felt Anne had so much to offer to TOC. I am sure you are really tickled just like me to see that she joined. I have found her to be such a wealth of knowledge and when the thread started to include talk of Cosmos I figured the right thing to do would be to invite her to join the crowd here. After all everyone of us loves our horses especially when they are getting a bit of unsolicited publicity.

The mare is contributing a lot to the product. Writing "he was bred by me" is absolutely not correct and very unfair to the REAL breeder. Also Bridget, which ones of your stallions are broke? If you pick on a stallion, then show you can make it better instead of trying to let another stallion look bad. My TB stallions are all wonderful to ride. |

Isn't it IRONIC that the subject of this thread is "why do people have to be so snarky?".
May I draw your attention to the BIG RED LETTERS in cindeye's post above? You guys are dragging your endless fights from TOB and TMP - your alliances, your back stabbing -your petty turf wars - on and off the BB's - over here, and we have made it clear we don't want to know about it. Does the phrase "life is too short" not mean anything to you? ![]() This board is intended to be fun, supportive, encouraging, informative, witty .....so, as cindeye said, leave your luggage at the door - please.

Either leave the baggage at the door, or I may relocate the luggage outside the door and ask you to go join it. This isn't kindergarten, folks, get off the playground and stop throwing sand. |
